Christ is counting on you!
And I am counting on Christ!
Come join familiar faces for a reunion weekend led by Monsignor Dan McGlynn. The weekend will be an opportunity to encounter Jesus Christ and hear the Gospel Call through inspiring talks, prayer exercises, Mass, and faith sharing.
This is a renewal weekend for the people who have made a Cursillo, and it will be an opportunity for others who have not, to experience the Gospel call to discipleship in the midst of a faith-filled community. The retreat is for men and women.
Rev. Daniel J. McGlynn has been a priest in the Diocese of Wilmington for 34 years. Before that, in July of 1972, he says, "by the grace of God and the program and fellowship of a Twelve Step program, I began the process of recovery. I have remained sober and active in the Twelve Step program over the past 44 years." Rev. McGlynn was the pastor of two parishes: Immaculate Conception in Elkton, Maryland and Holy Cross in Dover, Delaware. In June of 2013, he retired as pastor of Holy Cross Parish. He also ministered as a Pastoral Counselor and Spiritual Director, which he continues in retirement along with conducting retreats and parish missions. Rev. McGlynn has a Masters in Divinity from St. Mary Seminary and University, in Baltimore, MD and a Masters in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD.
