Introduction to Centering Prayer Workshop
Saturday April 8, 2017 9:30 am to 3:30 pm
Cost $40 (includes lunch)
This Introduction to Centering Prayer Workshop is for those new to Centering Prayer, as well as those who already practice this prayer. The practice of Centering Prayer allows us to open to the presence and action of God not only during the prayer period, but also during the activities of everyday life. It offers an approachable way of deepening intimacy with God and increasing one's capacity to live a fully Christian life. One long-term practitioner wishes that this practice had been available when she was a young person, so that her relationship with God could have deepened much earlier.
We welcome teens and adults of all ages to this workshop. In addition to the six-hour workshop on April 8th, there will be six optional weekly follow-up sessions at Resurrection Parish (3000 Videre Dr, Wilmington, DE 19808) on Thursday evenings at 7 pm.
