One of the most misunderstood aspects of Carmelite Spirituality is John of the Cross's concept of the Dark Night of the soul. In this session, we will examine John's life and poetry with an eye to understanding what the dark night means for spiritual seekers today. There will be plenty of time for discussion and reflection.
